While cranberry farming and fishing are still native occupations, the economy is primarily supported by tourism, which increases the year round population of 12,500 to over 37,000 in the summer months.SchoolHarwich High School, accredited by the New England Association of Secondary Schools, is a four-year comprehensive high school with an enrollment of 430 students. The small size of Harwich High School affords a close connection between students and faculty and an ability to individualize instruction to meet student needs.Graduation Requirements
