Find
out what the school you are applying to requires from you. If they want
you to file PROFILE, pick up the worksheet from the guidance office. The
worksheet is purple and gold and you may register PROFILE now. The CSS
toll-free telephone number for PROFILE is 800-778-6888. You must fill out
the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), which is available
in the guidance office now. You cannot file FAFSA before January 1,
but you should be aware of the information which will be requested. It
is probable that you will be asked to send copies of your and your parent’s
2000 income tax forms to the school. If a school has its own financial
aid application it is probably due by either mid-February or March
1.
There is a financial aid night that will take placve around Thanksgiving
and for information about that please contact the Guidance Office.
