COMPUTER CAMP

Tuesday thru Thursday
8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
The Program:
Welcome to Computer Camp. Students will have the
opportunity to learn how to program games on the computer, design,
build and operate robots, and take on a variety of “cool”
science challenges.
Students will have these exciting technology areas
to explore—

Programming interactive games in BASIC with
“Media Man” and his trusted buddy “Goo”

Meet the Valiant Roamer Robot. Roamer, shaped
like a large M&M is a fully programmable robot capable of
playing music, drawing color, dressing up in a variety of characters
and more.

Discover the secrets of optical illusions
and how they can be created on the computer.

Manipulate 3-D images with custom screens,
patterns, gradients, and fonts.

Prepare animation loops and sequences for
presentation the computer.

Turn the computer into the ultimate music
and sound effects machine.
This course is taught by Larry Brookhart, computer
teacher at Harwich Elementary School for students who have completed
grades 4 through 6.
