In November the Coastal Explorer
came to visit our school. The van parked in back of the school
and the classes signed up for a time to visit. When the
kindergarten children had their turn they played a habitat game. Each
child was given a fishing pole with a magnet and used the pole to to
pick up a picture card. When the card was turned over the
child had to guess whether the animal's habitat was the ocean or a
pond. After the game,the children had the opportunity to tour the van
and get a good look at many of the exhibits.
